Boleyn agree we have a team packed full of them, it's not bad luck that we see this week in week out. We all knew the inevitable would happen and we would concede, it was just a case of who was going to put their hand up for whufc thickest player award for this particular week.

Re: Antonio

Wait a minute. Antonio should have carried on towards goal and picked out a team mate. Crap play. But you are all blaming him for the goal we conceded. It was with their goalkeeper and ended up a few seconds late in our net. The poor defence and rest of the team were so stunned at what Antonio did they all downed tools and did fuck all to stop Zaha scoring. I blame the two fuckers who let him turn in the area nd have all the time in the world to get a shot away. I blame Noble for not coming across when he saw the danger, with Antonio up field, and kicking Zaha into touch, instead of having a row with Loftus-Cheek. I blame the idiot Ogbonna for tripping Townsend as he moves away from goal.
Fuck me what Antonio did was stupid in giving the opposition the ball back, definitely stupid, yes. But there were more to blame than just him for fucks sake

Bilic is desperate to save his job so he is going to lash out and try and project the blame onto someone else. In short Bilic is responsible and Bilic should go NOW!

For all Antonio's attributes he is as dumb as they come, you could almost feel Hart wanting to say as much in his post match interview, This is a player I watched against Bournemouth last season run the ball out of play with no one near him. In a era of thick footballers we seem to have assembled a squad packed full of them.

Re: Antonio

I just think blaming Antonio deflects from the real issue is that our defenders dont do basic shit alot of the time.
Can anyone explain why whilst Antonio is at the corner flag with no support the rest of our players are not back in position at the half way line?
By the time their keeper has thrown the ball back we already have 3 or 4 defenders deep in our half playing their attackers on side. Why not take the opportunity when Antonio is at the corner flag to get into the right positions?

That was almost as frustrating as the cock up right at the end. We have several really good chances for a counter attack around the 80th minute but chose to waste time.

What fucked me off is that around the 83rd minute Antonio took the ball into the corner to waste time.
Fucking clueless.
BILIC NEEDS TO GO.

With Russ on this one...it should be engrained in a professional footballers mind to do the right thing in that situation...my U9 boy would have looked to run the clock down without anyone telling him...its an instinctive act to protect a lead...i would love to know what what went thru Antonio's mind in that split second to think 'crossing' the ball back into play was a good idea :-(
But its just so typical of West Ham in recent times

360... Come on... my 15 year old daughter would have least kept that ball near the corner flag for a few seconds... you telling me 15 stone beast like Antonio could not have shielded the ball there?? Behave....
Backpass.... like what was said on saturday have a feeling Zab' might have had a knock... he did not move that freely when he went off... I might be wrong but he looked like he might be injured

Bilic should not have taken off Zabeletta, leaving out right side with makeshift defenders against Zaha. This is why Bilic is tactically useless and should now go before it's too late.

Why, oh why didn't Harewood head for the corner here?

We're defending a one goal lead in the last minute of the match.
Can't imagine he got slagged off for his "stupid" decision, though...

No it wouldn't as the ref would have blown up...
really? there was 30 seconds for an attack so how do you know the ref would have stopped the game?
If they had a goal kick they could have gone route 1 and we still would have been in the same position.
In fact when you logically look at it, the fact the ref allowed that 30 seconds for a goal meant that Antonio would have to have stayed in that corner for another 30 seconds! Thats insane.
He should have kicked it out for a throw in or a goal kick but that should have meant our defenders got in the correct position further up the pitch.
We lost because of poor defending and positioning not because antonio crossed the ball.

Oh don't be silly. When he faces up the defender if he just starts rolling the ball backwards to the corner he can then turn round and just protect it. Just get your body in the way. You can then draw a foul or even get a corner. Even if it goes out for a Palace throw you then pen them in. Or a Palace goal kick you can all get back and in position. But by then you have wasted another 30 seconds at least faffing about in the corner.
Don't say stuff to protect him just for the sake of it. If he runs it in the corner we win. End of.

Bilic trying to change him into a RB last season where it was plain to see by all he wasn't. By doing that we also lost one of our main goal threats last season for a number of games.
This season Bilic playing Antonio where he is still suffering the effects of injury.
Has Bilic got it in for Antonio?
Slated him on MotD like a pundit but Would of expected a bit of support from my manager.

I doesnt matter. The issue is we were too deep which allowed them to get the ball to our area very quickly and put us under pressure
If whilst Antonio was up at the corner flag and our defenders cleared their fucking lines and pushed up as they are meant to their wouldnt have been a goal.
